In the province of Rutana like elsewhere, woman is continually subjected to physical and moral violence at home as the case of Bizimana Judith who lives at Rushemeza in the commune and province of Rutana province shows it.

On August 22, 06, this woman was violently beaten by her husband, Nzeyimana Samuel. The victim had a broken bone with displacement of the left radium. According to the doctor who treated her, the victim will have a total disablement to work for more than one month.

One of the children of the victim, Bayisabe Jocelyn, intervened to rescue her mother but her father threw stone on her shoulder which caused her a pain and a small light wound.

The two victims went to plead to the police and the perpetrator has been already imprisoned but his wife, the principal victim, starts to plead for his release.
