An unacceptable case occurred in the afternoon of Wednesday October 11, 2006 at the primary school of ButerereI, where a Congolese teacher, Kiza Prosper, teacher of the 5th level beat a 13 year old pupil, Nadine, until she loses conscious. She was accused of having talked in class.

According to children’s testimonies of the same class, the victim had just been beaten her 21th blow of steak before falling unconscious. They say several other pupils had been beaten like animals and traces of blows were visible on their bodies.
