On Saturday, 11th November 06, around 11pm, a group of criminals carrying Kalachnikovs, shot at people who were taking some drinks in a bar located on the 8th avenue No 15 in Mutakura in the urban district of Cibitoke.

One person, Ndikumana Bernard, died right away and two others, among them the owner of the refreshment bar Mrs Josée, were wounded.. The criminals escaped after the incidence and the injured are at the hospital now. However, one of the wounded was not identified and according to the population he is one of the criminals who was accidentally hit by one of the bullets.

The reason of this attack is not yet known but it was Bernard who has been traced, while the two others have been hit by stray bullets.
