In the night of Sunday, 19th November 06 around 4 am, two people armed with guns stopped some persons who were transporting palm oil on their bikes. They stole 8 jerrycans of oil from them and two bikes that they used to carry them

In the same night another person, Musengo André, has been killed at his home in Kivyiru zone in the province of Bubanza, by 6 people who were armed with machetes and grenades. The victim was blamed of practicing witchcraft. Administration and police have arrested the community administrative local authorities of Kivyiru because they are suspected of being involved in the crime.

It is also reported that an important movement of the FNL militants who are heading to the Kibira was observed these last days. They take along with them a lot of food , but still those who desert from Kibira tell that people over there die of hunger.
