A group of non-identified people attacked Maconco’s family which lives in the sector Mugaruro in Mpanda Commune in the province of Bubanza in the night of 26th November 2006. Maconco was killed and his cohabitant Frederic was seriously injured.

According to the information which has been collected at the site of crime, the murder is related to a property conflict between the victim and his neighbours. Police has already started its investigations to find the perpetrators.

In the same night at 10pm at the crossroad 8 at Mpanda, a group of bandits systematically robbed in several houses of the area. Unknown amount of money and several bicycles have been stolen.

Also during the night of 26th November an unidentified group of bandits attacked and killed Nyambusa Réverien and heavily injured his wife and his daughter. In the meantime the latter are both treated at the healthcenter of Ciya.

The same night another group attacked the house of Nziganke Francois. They stole an unknown amount of money and several household articles. The head of familly was tied up and beaten before they left him in a critical condition.

The police is tracking this groups of robbers who operate in several locations of Bubanza.
