A young girl corpse has been found at the banks of Mubarazi river in Bururi province.
On 10th November 2006 a 15 year old young girl, Emeline Ndayikeza, daughter of Emile Ndayikeza, teacher at the primary school of Kiruri, and Pauline Ndayikeza, teacher of the primary school of Kabugabo, living at Kabugabo, was kidnapped and killed by a group of unidentified people.
The next day the neigbours of the area were busy searching the girl but in vain. On 13th November her body was found on the riverbank of Mubarazi river by the local police. Her face had traces of burn.
The alleged perpetrators Mudogi, Bagwagure and Tofori, all living in this area, have been arrested by the police. The three men are said to be in a property conflict with the victims of family.
