Three brothers Kimanazi , Masabo and Wilson, living in Muhuta commune in the province of Bujumbura rural province, acknowledged to have poisoned their nephew of less than six months. The latter died on December 27th, 2006. The three criminals had a land conflict with the father of the child.

The police arrested them by the time when the population was going to kill them. The criminals were first imprisoned in the dungeon of the commune and then transferred to the prison of Mpimba.
