Armed group attacked and plundered in a trade centre of Kivyuka in Musigati commune
A group of 10 people armed with 7 rifles attacked the trade centre of Kivyuka in Musigati commune, Bubanza province, in the night of February 27, 2007. They plundered in five shops of the centre belonging to the following persons: Nyandwi Pascal, Nzokirantevye Pascal, Sahabo and Sinaruhamagaye Gervais. They stole goods of all sorts from the shops such as: radios, oil, sugar, groundnuts...
Shots have been heard and the inhabitants of the surroundings fled their houses because of the fear. During the escape, a child broke a leg.
According to the population, these elements might be combatants of Palipehutu-Fnl. They were in green uniforms. One of these robbers was caught, but the commander of military region of the Palipehutu-Fnl movement, Mbonyingingo Eric, denied any involvement of his men in that attack.
