In the morning of Saturday on April 17, 2005 around 11:00 AM, 1064 Rwandan refugees fleeing the gacaca jurisdiction have arrived in Marangara commune in the province of Ngozi. They have been sheltered close to the health centre of Murehe, at Bunenge.
Besides grown up men, among these refugees were women, children and babies. These people are suffering from hunger, cold and tiredness.
Nevertheless, some humanitarian organizations refused to provide them with primary needs as they are accused of genocide.
The number of these refugees is increasing every day.
