On October 4th,2007, combatants of the Palipehutu -Fnl of Rwasa Agathon launched an attack early in the morning against the deserters of the same movement. The deserters declare to be against war and they were commanded by a certain BANES in Nkoma in the commune of Matongo in the Province of Kayanza close to the natural forest of Kibira.

Bombs were targeted at Nkoma locality where the combatants were gathered. The loss was not yet known for it was not easy to get to the place where the bombs were thrown. Around 50 combatants reached the commune town centre the same morning. Four of them were injured and their commander Banes was among wounded.

The Palipehutu - Fnl spokesman Pasteur Habimana, stated that the dissidents are helped by the government. In an another story, It has been reported that 8 out 9 combatants of the same movement who were planning to flee has been killed at Mubone, in the commune of Muhuta of the province Bujumbura- rural. One succeeded to escape.
