In the morning of October 29, 2007, towards 11h, a motorcyclist working as a taxi cyclist was assassinated on Ruhuhuma street close to OAU quarter in urban district of Kinindo. The robber had disguised himself as a customer and directed the motorcyclist as he wanted.

When they arrived at the level of the street mentioned above, the criminal stopped his victim. At the moment where he was pretending to pay money, another armed robber came and shot at the motorcyclist who died on the spot. Both robbers took immediately the motor bike and ran towards an unknown direction.

The chief of legal police station and administration communal of Kinindo revealed that motor bikes are stolen on a regular basis these . More than five motor bikes have already been stolen in this commune.

The last roberry took place in July 2007 and two suspects were arrested. Unfortunately, said the chief of station, they have been released later and impunity may worsen the situation.
