Heavy rain caused heavy loss to the population of Bujumbura capital.
Strong wind and Heavy rain that pulled down on the 31st October has caused a lot of loss in some communes of Bujumbura; destroyed houses and roofs taken away. In the commune of Kamenge a monument and a billboard fell down, houses fell on people and two of them died. In the commune of Buterere around 50 houses were destroyed and 5 persons injured.
