On the 25th November 2007 at night, a group of 4 armed bandits have killed one person and wounded another on the 12th Avenue of Gitega quarter in the commune of Kinama. One of the bandits was in military uniform. They first broke the door with a big stone and then entered into the house and stole two bicycles.

During the robbery, they shot 3 bullets killing one person and injuring another. The population complains saying there were policemen patrolling some hours before the robbery and they think that these policemen must have been involved in the robbery. Let’s mention that the police came two hours after the crime.
