On the 1st December 2007, around 7 pm, criminals armed with a rifle and grenades got into a bar which is on the 12th avenue of Bubanza Quarter in the urban commune of Kinama and opened fire killing one person and injuring two others.

The killed person, Oredi Hassani, was a fish trader in the market of Kinama and one of the wounded ones, Pascal Ntawuhorahiriwe, was employed in the same bar where he roasts meat.
