The students of the Secondary school of Cibitoke are back again at school.
The students of the Secondary school of Cibitoke are again back at school since Monday the 17th December 07 after one month of forced holidays following a problem of security. They had left the school on the 13th November 07; two days after the government had installed a site for the dissidents combatants of the Palipehutu- Fnl armed movement near the secondary school of Cibitoke.
It is the vice - Minister of National Education in the charge of the primary and Secondary Schools who proceeded to the reopening of the school. All who have spoken, the vice- Minister, the representatives of the parents, of the students and the elected parliaments of Cibitoke, have focused their messages on three main points. On one hand, they have thanked the government for having heard, understood and taken into consideration their worries, and on the other hand they appreciated that the government has understood that it was not worthy to dismiss the two school authorities being the Head of school and the Director in charge of students’ life in the boarding. The students were asked to work hard and to have the school program finished in time. For that recommendation, the students pointed out that they miss a lot school materials but the Minister told them that he was going to see what can be done and that soon the solution will be found.
