The corpse of a Burundian soldier who died following a bomb explosion in Somalia was repatriated.
The corpse of Burundian soldier who died in Nairobi hospital where he was hospitalised after a severe injury following an explosion attempt in Mogadiscio in Somalia was repatriated on 10th April 08. The corpse arrived at the international airport of Bujumbura at 11: 40 where the minister of defence and several other high ranked military officials were waiting for it.
That soldier was seriously injured on the 8th April following an explosion attempt against the Burundian troops headquarter. Seriously wounded, the soldier died in the hospital of Nairobi the next day of the explosion, said the spokesman of the Burundian troops in Somalia. He added that anther soldier was also wounded in the some attack.
The Shabbats Islamists combatants said on Tuesday the 8th February 08, to be the perpetrators of the attack.
