3 armed persons in military uniforms attacked the local authority of Ruhehe sector in Bugabira commune of the province Kirundo. It was on the 9th April 08 around 7: 30, at his home. The victim, Nikoyandemye Sylvester, was back home from the market of Ngozi where he had been selling cows, told the neighbours. The criminals stole him 2 millions and a mobile telephone, said the population of the place. According to the neighbours of the victim, those criminals might be the soldiers of Ruhehe military position, not far from the victim’s home. During the attack, one of the soldiers was wounded by the victim but the first said that he was accidentally wounded by one of his colleagues when they were going to rescue the victim, what the population thinks not convincing. Nikoyandemye Sylvester was a Uprona party activist and was at the some time of Tutsi ethny.
