On October 1st 08 about 8 PM, a soldier of the 311th battalion of Kayanza military camp, Jean Bosco Nsabimana, from Gatsinda locality in Mwumba commune of Ngozi province, left his position at Mutana in Matongo commune, Kayanza province in order to go and steal he was armed and he went to steal Idrissi Gahungu’s home in Shikiro quarter in Ngozi town centre.

A sum of BIF 40,000 Bu, a teletax and mobile phones were stolen. Idrissi Gahungu shouted out for help and the neighbours came out and caught him. The suspected perpetrator was arrested and he is now detained in Ngozi judiciary police custody. The police investigations are going on.
