On 31July, 2005 at night, in Muzenga district of Musaga zone, Gaspard Ntadidimirindi, was atrociously killed by night watchmen of a bar that belongs to Pascal, a trade man in the central market of Bujumbura.

The victim was caught while he was trying to steal some crates of beer from the bar with the help of some of his friends. The robber died early in the morning of 1st August when he was being taken to the hospital. The police are searching Japiyano to arrest him because he is one of the watchmen who has been denounced by the victim as being among those who ill treated him.
