A summit between authorities of Burundi and Rwanda on the issue of the Rwanda asylum seekers in Ngozi
A bipartite summit between the authorities of Burundi and Rwanda on the issue of the Rwandan asylum seekers was held on Monday November 07, 2005 in Ngozi province centre town.
This summit gathers the governors of the provinces of Kibungo, Butare and Kigali Ngali of Rwanda and the governors of the provinces of Ngozi, Kayanza, Kirundo and Muyinga and the administrators of the bordering communes of Burundi.
These asylum seekers living in Burundi are estimated at more or less 3.000 Rwandans scattered in these Northern provinces of Burundi.
