On Friday November 7, 2005 at night, heavy shootings were heard in Mutanga, the Northern district of the urban commune of Gihosha, following an arrest of two members of the Palipehutu- Fnl movement who had found a refuge at a former deputy, Pascal Ntukamazina.
To arrest them, the police was obliged to use their guns. After the arrest, they were led to the military camp of Kamenge.
The population of Mutanga and the military positions of the place started shooting too, thinking they were attacked. The population of Mutanga got frightened.
The following day, other 10 persons suspected of being criminals, were arrested in Muzenga district of the urban commune of Kanyosha. They were then led to the military camp of Kanyosha.
