Some communes of the province of Kayanza have just fired some of theirs workers from theirs jobs and without giving them theirs allowances as it is provided for by the law.

There are even some of them who have been chased without being paid of theirs salaries of several months, as it is the case of Mbazumutima, who worked in the commune of Butaganzwa, who was chased on November 28, 2005 without having been paid of his 7 months salaries nor given dismissal indemnities.

The commune of Butaganzwa has already dismissed 8 workers and that of Muruta 10 while the commune of Kayanza has already chased 23 workers. The reason for these massive dismissals is not well-known. Some of them are replaced but others are not. According to some administrators, some of them are chased because they are accused of embezzlements and / or corruption but another reason is to reduce the over number of the communal personnel.
