A secondary school teacher of the communal college of Gashikanwa, Muntu Jerome, was arrested on Thursday morning February 16, 2006 by the police. He was accused of having raped four of his students during the last school year of 2004-2005.

Following these charges, the accused has lost his job and is now detained for interrogation. Let’s mention that Jerome Muntu is a militant of the Cndd-Fdd party and is the vice president of the communal council of Ruhororo commune.
